Dealer Synergy’s data shows that the connection rate for an outbound phone call is about 14% in 2017; however, this dropped in 2019 to between 9%-10% in 2019. That means that with a BDC with 5 reps making 120 outbound calls, for a total of 600 calls, on average, you would only have conversations with 60 people. With a 33% appointment rate, you would generate 20 appointments. Think about that… 600 phone calls to generate 20 appointments.
