Richard started out in retail working in Marshalls and sporting goods. He received a promotion and decided to buy a new car. He noticed the energy of the dealership and everyone seemed successful. The car salesman who worked with him was well dressed and wore nice things so this triggered Richard. He started to entertain the idea of becoming one of these guys and pursued car sales right away. Richard started in a Hyundai store and was there for 8 months then spent 5 years at a Honda store. During his time he held positions as a salesperson and later became a sales manager. Richard grew the internet department from selling a couple of cars a month to over 150 cars. May of 2011 Richard took a leap of faith, moved to Florida to pursue a career as a successful Internet Sales Director. LA and Richard discuss the effectiveness of culture inside the dealership and why it holds so much value. Richard has a different approach to how he trains his people, he makes rapport building a priority when doing business with prospects. He even takes time to get to know the people who work for him on a personal level. This podcast will change your paradigm completely,
